"The house was conveniently located near the springs and close proximity to shopping needs. I enjoyed the ease of the check in process and the promptness of inquiries to the host if I had any. The property is exactly as listed online. I enjoyed my stay, I am sad I missed the manatees by a week but I hope to visit again next spring. "

"This was an old plantation home that has been renovated. It has a lot of charm and is well kept. Many of the old house details have been preserved. There are beautiful grounds and an event space. The owners of 13 years live upstairs and the wife is lovely. She gave us the history of the area and wine/apps on our arrival. If you are in the area, would recommend a stay!"

"They have a $50 deposit in Addition to the room charge. We were told it wouldn’t be charged if room left ok but we were charged and it took a couple days to return it to us. Breakfast was kind of sparse. I wouldn’t stay there again. "

"The property was eady to find, provided a great get away, totally private and relaxing, yet only 15 minutes to downtown High Springs. It was pet friendly which meant a lot to us. Highly recommend for a getaway and to unwind."

"We rented 3 rooms and all 3 rooms were infested with roaches. When we complained to the night manager, she was very nonchalant with her attitude and just asked for the keys back while saying they just had pest control come out!"

"We loved our long weekend away at Suwannee River Retreat! The house was clean, spacious and updated nicely. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed: pots, pans, utensils, etc. It was the perfect hangout spot in the mornings while we made breakfast. All the rooms were spacious and very comfortable. Plenty of room for a large family. The dock was our favorite part, though; we spent several hours relaxing out there, enjoying the peace and quiet of the river. The check-in and check-out process was easy, and the only two things we needed to do before leaving were strip the beds and take out the trash. We will definitely be back!"
