We walk through the front door and found it was clean and awesome cool. Everything was so neatly arranged. There was also complementary coffee ,drinks and snacks. We were able to take early morning walks with the kids and dog then finish the evening with late night s'mores. Virginia was quick to respond to questions and added special touches like snacks for our dog and dinner recommendations. The house is small but utilizes the space well with 4 bedrooms and one bathroom. We used the screened in front porch for morning breakfast and coffee and the fire pit at night. There were 7 of us in total. The cottage was cozy, perfectly placed, and had everything we needed to have all of our weekend activities. It's right around the corner from many of the springs, so that was awesome, too! It is a lovely piece of property with plenty of privacy, yet, close enough to town to run to Wal-Mart or Dollar General should you need anything ! The cottage had plenty of room for us all to sleep comfortably and the owner was extremely accommodating and thoughtful, including a bottle of our favorite wine upon arrival and plenty of blankets for my grandmother. The yard was wonderful for our dog to enjoy, and the porches were perfectly set for activities and games together as a family. The fire pit was set up for us with plenty of lawn chairs and a swinging lounge chair to enjoy. The fire wood provided was such a kind amenity, as well as the charcoal for the grill! All in all, this place has everything needed to make beautiful family memories, relax, have fun, and unwind. The owner is extremely attentive and replies quickly to any questions or concerns, which was extremely helpful to our planning prior to arrival.
