DUNE Fairfield Beach

10/10 Excellent

"I loved my stay at the Dune! I was in a corner room and it got great sunlight all day. It was just a few minutes from the beach, so I was able to walk out and watch the sunrise. There was also a market across the street that had delicious breakfast. I brought it back to my room to eat while enjoying the Keurig coffee in the room."

Quality Suites Stratford

8/10 Good

"I had a pleasant stay. Breakfast was decent and fully stocked.Beds are very comfortable here and the rooms are well maintained. The walls are thin between rooms. I heard my neighbor snoring as if we were in the same room. My husband snores so it didn’t keep me awake. But that is my only negative feedback. I would stay here again."

Cheerful 5 bed Residential house.

"This property is SO convenient to Hartford Ampitheater. We came for a concert and walked right over at night. It is maybe a 5 or so minute walk from the property. The house was clean and the kitchen had all of the amenities we needed. It was a 10-15 minute walk to the Long Island Sound which was FULL of shells. My daughter had a wonderful time there. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided were great additions.A few notes for travelers: One of the 5 bedrooms is only accessible within a bedroom so better for families with lots than all adults. The house has window A/C and we did have to use it in October since it got hot upstairs. Not all beds have side tables, which is one improvement I would recommend. Adequate closet or drawer space, but the upstairs bath had no counter or shelf space for toiletries so I just set my toiletry bad on the back of the toilet and got things in and out.The neighborhood is a little sketchy and neighbors could be loud, but we had no problems. Parking is on the street so if you have multiple cars you may have to park around the block. All in all a fine stay and the best part was the convenience to the stadium and beach."

Business or Weekend escape

"The room was very comfortable, and check in was smooth. I would caution families with small children from staying here, because of many of the signs decorating the interior are inappropriate (mild profanity, toilet humor). But the amenities were great, and the temperature was good, even though it's a basement unit."
