"We really enjoyed the rural setting. The small house was obviously built in the old tradition. Miguel's hospitality and guidance were much appreciated. And because of the unseasonable October heat, the pool came in very handy."

Overall very good
"Very helpful and frirendly staff. Good English and Spanish spokenn and great advice on where to sitesee, shop and eat."
"We enjoyed staying in a historical property. The grounds were beautiful, and the pousada was perfectly situated to Evora's attractions, museums, shopping, and very high quality restaurants. The staff were friendly, and helpful, and we enjoyed the breakfast. The carpet in our room was little worn, but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would recommend to other travelers."

"We really enjoyed our stay here..The pool are was lovely.Had some lovely food at the pool bar..The rooms were very nice and spotless clean. Two gripes would be the room had no dressing table or mirror to apply make up and dry hair. The plug sockets were situated far from the long mirror so had to do it in all in the bathroom and it was very dark, and hot...Also I thought the breakfast was disappointing not much choice at all in the fruit selection or anything else to be honest. The first hotel Iv ever stayed in Portugal that didn’t have Nata tarts. But I still enjoyed my stay"
"Exceptional decor of marble designs. All amenities were of top quality. Linens, furnishings, service true to 5 star establishment. Absolutely worth the visit. "
