"Wonderful hotel. I strongly recommend selecting a marina-view room. The other side of the hotel overlooks the regional bus station. Also select the breakfast option if you are an early riser. Many of the eating choices nearby do not open til 9 and have prices that may be more than what the hotel charges. "

"This hotel was beautiful and such a great find. There aren’t a ton of hotel options in Lagos, but this one is BY FAR the best. The hotel is clean, has beautiful views, great complimentary breakfast and amazing staff. I have to mention Isa, who checked us in, gave us amazing recommendations, and then later came to our room to help us escort a little lizard that had come in off the balcony back outside😂. The staff here go above and beyond, and it was a fabulous stay. I can’t recommend more!"

"The swimming pool it’s amazing!! The spa offers a relaxing time and it’s easy to book a place. The room with sea/swimming pool view and the balcony…you’ll want to repeat! Watching the moonlight over the sea, the sunrise and so many beautiful views from the beach. Buffet is very good and with different thematic every night. You’re surrounded by nature, one step from one of the most beautiful beaches in the Algarve: Meia Praia. Visit Ponta da Piedade and watch the sunset: breathtaking! 1st time I went there had lunch in Camilo restaurant, to repeat! This was my second time in Vila Gale Lagos, hope to come back many more!"

"This is an excellent property. They’ve done some upgrades to the grounds and it’s truly a remarkable well kept property. Room is cleaned daily, and very spacious. The gym, pool, sauna and steam room are also great to have close by. We’ve stayed here 3 times and will be coming back again."

"Definitely not a 5 star, 3 star tops but there is no option near the racetrack. Racetrack is awesome and very exciting to drive, highly recommended if your are a car guy/girl."

"Had the most amazing stat and if I come back to Lagos, I’ll be sure to come back. Food was great, staff were attentive and friendly. It’s about a 45 min walk into Lagos town centre, but you can Uber for around €4 each way. There was constantly entertainment in the hotel but we did not see that, and the drinks list for all inclusive was substantial. My girlfriend said this was the best hotel she stayed in. Definitely recommended. Oh, and you get a welcome drink on arrival, no matter what time you arrive. "
