"The cabin on the island was SO peaceful and relaxing! We really enjoyed living off the grid for 4 days compared to the hustle and bustle of the Twin Cities. A bald eagle perched in the tallest tree on the island every day, which brought us lots of joy and entertainment. We really liked having a boat and canoe to see all the sights on the lake. What a wonderful way to celebrate our 3 month wedding anniversary!"

"The cabin was quaint and charming and had excellent reading material despite the low light. The bed was super comfortable which provided us a good night sleep since our days were full either kayaking or walking trails. I do wish the host communicated better. It didn’t matter if I texted him directly or through the VRBO app, he didn’t respond. To connect I had to call him directly. And lastly, without the oven working properly, the grill is your main cooking source which is a pain to cook on due to only half the grill working properly. Besides those couple of nuisances, we would definitely go back. And his dog is gentle and very cool!"
