Everything we needed was provided by the hosts from towels for both showers and the hot tub to all the kitchen utensils, dishes and cookware to cook an Easter Dinner for the family. They even went as far as to provide us with a delicious Easter dessert in the form of an awesome apple pie. "Fantastic stay at Red Tail Retreat! The mountain views from the screened back deck are incredibly serene, and we loved watching all the deer and birds. We had the (HUGE) neighborhood pool almost exclusively to ourselves. It’s exceptionally kid-friendly with almost everything you could need already provided. They allowed us to bring our dog, who seemed to need the reprieve from the bustle of the city as much as we did. Plus, the host was super responsive and attentive throughout our entire trip....

"This cabin was everything it promised! Clean the hot tub was a life saver after 17hr on the road and 3 waterfalls. The creek was so relaxing to sit by with coffee in the morning. We will absolutely come stay again. The host kept in touch in timely manner"

"The hotel was clean, comfortable and quiet. Coffee in the room was a plus. Check-in was a minus. They wouldn't let us in the office; we had to stay outside in the 90-degree heat WITH their office AC pumping MORE hot, humid air onto us. The office window is plastered with rules (I'm a man of rules, I didn't mind it too much, but, it was a little off-putting) about all of the things you must and must not do in order to not lose your deposit. I was warned that if I slept in both of the Queen beds I would be charged more. That was unnecessary. I would stay here again. OH! The 3% CREDIT CARD PENALTY was off-putting. That might keep me from staying again. As a businessman myself, I KNOW they're making money on that 3% charge."

"We wanted to totally get away from people for 6 days and just enjoy eachother. We work a lot and you sometimes forget to take TIME to just be. This home was one of the best places we have ever stayed. We did go to Ellijay one day and went to the Roof Restaurant & shops… other than that we stayed put! We shopped for groceries before we arrived and so we were set. Matthew has not forgotten one thing. If you need or want it he has thought of it. We truly loved the layout, beauty and uniqueness of the home. The bed was absolutely the coolest thing and a neat comfortable way to sleep. Every single thing about this house made you feel at home. Looking out the windows seeing the beautiful mountain never got old. And it’s sooooo quiet. Thank you Matthew… if you ever want to sell this home look me up. Cynthia & Faith"
