"Room was clean and we were allowed to check in early. Breakfast was very basic but we enjoyed the bananas and a hot drink."

"Not nice"

"We reserved a room to accommodate 3 people. At check in we were assigned to a smaller room. The clerk was helpful after we gave him suggestions on how to fix the problem. Although room appeared to be clean, the rug was grimly. Bathroom had mold in corners which had been caulked over. Hallways, main lobby and elevator all needed a good steam cleaning. The clerk was tattooed and had snagged tooth with long finger nails. Not the professional appearance one would expect assisting and greeting people."

"Breakfast was warm and complete every day. The workout room was clean and very nice to help burn off those breakfasts. Nice hosts, friendly guests."

" Good room for the price"

"The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Undergoing renovations but they do a great job of it not impacting your stay or the appearance."

"The breakfast was good. Food was fresh and a nice selection. I got unlucky enough to have a bad room. I feel like my situation was isolated so don't let my experience stop you from staying here. My biggest complaint was the way the young man at the desk handled it. Issues arise and that is to be expected. My TV didn't work, phone didn't work, and sink didn't drain. I went down to breakfast and reported the issues to the young man at the front desk, and he simply said, "I'll notify maintenance". I went back to the room and played on my cell phone until it was time for me to leave (3 hours after breakfast). I spoke to the Lady Manager on duty on my way to my car, and told her that I sat in my room for 3 hours and Maintenance still hadn't been there. Turns out, the young man didn't do a thing! The Manager was very nice, apologized for the inconvenience and would take care of the issues with the room. It is because of the way she handled the situation that I gave the 4 stars and not 3 stars. "

"Friendly staff"

"First, the location is perfect, overlooking a beautiful creek. As soon as we entered, we could see that the cottage was immaculate. Nicely decorated, with everything we needed for our stay - it's small but mighty! The hosts were very communicative and thoughtful in the days leading up to our trip, and promptly answered the few questions we had. Since this trip was planned to allow my writing colleague and I to complete final revisions on our novel, we especially appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and beautiful scenery. Absolutely perfect, and we plan to come again!"
