The Finch House is a beautiful home designed with you in mind. From the moment you walk through the door, the open floor plan and modern conveniences will make you feel right at home. Distinctly appointed, this home offers everything you will need to make your stay all you'd hoped it would be. As you enter, the open kitchen overlooks the dining and living area with a view of the 21 foot tall stone wood burning fireplace. Off the living area, but close to the action, is a cozy sitting and entertainment area, that has a wall mounted 55" smart tv with Xfinity cable. The first floor master offers a king bed, dresser, and night stands. The master bathroom and walk-in closet are located off the bedroom separated by a beautiful barn door. The first floor also has easy access to a powder room, open laundry area and closet. The second floor contains two large bedrooms with a shared bath. The bedroom, with a queen bed, sits overlooking the creek and also contains barn style doors that can be opened to look down on the living area and fireplace or closed for privacy. The second bedroom contains a twin over full bunk and a loft style bunk bed. Decorated in a National Park outdoor theme, this room is designed to get the adventurer juices flowing for both young and old. Continue down the open hall past large old barn beams to the open loft that has views of the creek, living room, and dining area. The loft has a wall mounted 55" smart television, couch and reclining chairs. Inside spaces are exactly as pictured, and the house lacks for nothing - plenty of kitchen supplies, towels, games, books, and even a diffuser with the blow dryer, which was much appreciated by those of us with curls :). The Finch House did not disappoint. This house was so beautifully decorated and so very clean. The private location along the creek was so beautiful and peaceful. It was easy to find and was exactly as the VRBO ad said. Lots of space for everyone, it was clean, games for the kids, lots of room for entertaining. We will be back. From the open floor plan that provides ample space for our family to spread out and relax, to the comfortable beds, to the large dining table that allowed us to enjoy a meal together Finch House has it all. The weather was perfect so using the grill and having a fire outside by the babbling creek also added to the perfect fall getaway! The house was comfortable with lots of seating, plenty of kitchen equipment, a great layout and lots of natural light. Our favorite part was the outdoor space and the covered seating looking out over the creek. The location was an easy drive into town. The backyard was gorgeous and we had so much fun on the creek, having campfires, and enjoying the outdoor patio. There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms where we did not have any issues. It is very well stocked with just about everything you’d need. The owners have done a great job with the decor and making it feel very comfortable. Also, the owners were very responsive with any questions we had prior to our arrival. We were 6 adults together for the weekend to celebrate ringing in 2024\. The accommodations were great.
