When is the best time to go to El Garraf?

The best time to visit El Garraf is during the spring (April to June) and autumn (September to October) months. These periods offer pleasant weather, with warm but not excessively hot temperatures, making it ideal for exploring the natural park, visiting the beaches, and enjoying outdoor activities. You'll find fewer crowds compared to the peak summer months, allowing for a more relaxed experience. The sea is usually warm enough for swimming from late May through to early October. Couples looking for a romantic getaway will appreciate the quieter atmosphere during these shoulder seasons. You can enjoy strolls along the coastline or explore the charming villages without the hustle and bustle of high summer. Many of the local restaurants and wineries are open but less busy, offering a more intimate dining experience. For those interested in hiking and outdoor pursuits, spring and autumn provide the superb climate. The Garraf Natural Park is stunning during these months, with its Mediterranean flora in full bloom in spring and the cooler temperatures of autumn making longer walks more comfortable.

Barceló Raval

8/10 Good

"The Bracelo Raval was a short ride from the cruise terminal. The hotel was unique with its shape and decorating, but it was clean, with amazing views. The staff were accommodating to store our luggage until our room was ready. The location to the tourist sites; the amazing Market, Gothic Quarter and the Hop on and Off Bus was convienent, however the surrounding streets were not ideal to be in after dusk. The area the hotel was located in was not the cleanest and seem to be home to a different crowd of people than we were used to. We were grateful for the morning buffet breakfast. It was an exceptional way to start the day. Our evening meal was lovely with live music. The rooftop terrace was amazing. The pool and the view do give this hotel bonus points. It was exceptional to see the city from the 11th floor. It was also nice to see how well visited this rooftop was used. Although parts of the stay we rated as 5 star, the location of the hotel for me had to lower the over all stay to a 4 star. The Barcelo Raval was an overal nice hotel to end our holiday in Europe."

Leonardo Royal Hotel Barcelona Fira

10/10 Excellent

"A fantastic hotel in a very quiet and safe area but with plenty of local cafes, bars and restaurants. The rooftop bar and pool was just fantastic, breakfast is very good and the staff are so helpful. Just 200M to the bus stop for a 20 minute ride to Placa de Catalunya."

Lamaro Hotel Barcelona 5★ | Preferred Hotels & Resorts | Lifestyle Collection

10/10 Excellent

"The rooms were decorated beautifully and very stylish. The staff were very helpful and went out of their way to help in every way. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. Can’t ask for much more. Top notch hotel."
