"McIntosh Country Inn was surprisingly amazing and a real hidden gem. The staff were so friendly and accommodating especially the gentleman that fulfilled my request for a quiet and private space for a meeting in the evening I could not take from my room. Also, the riverfront park and walkways are an incredible way to experience a gorgeous portion of the magnificent and historical St. Lawrence River. This was actually a huge surprise for us and a real unexpected treat in the community. The restaurant was also superb with a great and cheap - that’s right cheap - happy hour with $5/$6 pints of beer and the best liver and onion dinner I’ve ever had. And nope I’m not a senior, just love it! "

"Our experience at this hotel was excellent. The property was impeccably clean, and the staff consistently demonstrated professionalism and friendliness. We were pleasantly surprised when the General Manager took the time to personally greet us and inquire about our stay — a thoughtful gesture that did not go unnoticed. A particularly memorable touch was the personalized welcome message displayed on the television upon our arrival, which added a unique and warm element to our visit. The team managing the complimentary breakfast was efficient and attentive, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable start to our day. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with our stay and would gladly return."
