Decent Hotel Right Downtown

Posted 24-Sep-2017
Everything you need is within a short walking distance, close to the Rogers Arena, just of Jasper Ave. Plenty of restaurants and cafes close by, so no need to walk far for meals. Would have been nice to have even a partial continental breakfast (even it was a bowl of fruit or something like that, for a snack before heading out). There is an additional charge for parking, but it was reasonably priced and in a parade connected to the hotel. Rooms were nice, nothing extraordinary but certainly comfortable. Older, but have been maintained and updated well. Only real complaint would be the shower, it was impossible to keep a consistent temperature. It would go from comfortable to scalding hot to ice cold, and cycle between those for the entire duration of the shower.

Close to LRT and Shaw Centre

Posted 22-Sep-2017
Pros: location, small size, nice rooms
Cons: maybe have shower rods anchored to the wall as mine fell down when I tried to hang a towel on it.
Location: Corona LRT very close by. Such a quick way to travel in the city. Good restaurant on Jasper Avenue in the 107th Street block. The Commodore,
I stayed at the Days Inn for 3 nights in September. I liked the location being close to the Corona LRT station, and also to the Shaw Centre where I was going to a reunion. The room was very comfortable and clean. Staff helped me contact the Shaw Centre on Sunday when I had left something there.Very helpful. The base rate was $103 per night, but there were a lot of tourism levies on top of that. I did not expect these, but the price was still very reasonable.

Hotel needs an update. The rooms are old and small. Beds were old.

Nice Downtown Hotel Edmonton

We stayed here for UFC 215 which took place at Rogers Place. Nice hotel, great location downtown, 10 min walk to Rogers Place and close to numerous restaurants and businesses on Jasper Avenue.

This hotel.is old, no breakfast include. Had to pay for parking. Staff was rude at first. I found a bug in the sink. Go somewhere else!

Pros: Comfortable and downtown location
Cons: Coffee and water in lobby 24 hrs
Location: it was close to the venue I attended
Comfortable beds, room was clean. Parking was overpriced but secure. Would have liked maybe a continental breakfast.

Nice hotel, good price, great location

Posted 30-Aug-2017
Pros: Location and price.
Cons: It is a bit noisy, not much you can do about it though.
My boyfriend and I were planning a weekend trip to Edmonton to watch the Saskatchewan Roughriders game and visit my sister. I booked this hotel because it was fairly close to where by sister lives and was close to the LRT to go to the game. It was also close to a lot of great restaurants, cafes and the 104th st. market. The room was basic and clean and what we needed for the weekend.
