Comfy clean room with blackout blinds - yay! Our Deluxe King bed room was spacious but seemed emptier than other rooms I've had before, almost as if they removed a table and/ or desk and chair. Kind of strange. I also will never understand why hotels don't have bathroom fans. It just feels gross!

There was no parking available when we arrived. Five pick up trucks were parked in the front and remained there all night until the following morning. We had to park at the Edmonton library underground parkade. When showed up at 5:50pm for dinner and the service was terrible. We waited 45 mins for our meal and the server never brought us any water like we asked. We were quite disappointed.

Unfortunately, the buffet breakfast food, every single item hot item was cold. The eggs were cold. The sausages were cold. The hashbrowns were cold. All the hot items were cold, except for the toast, which I made myself. Lol. The staff were good. The room was clean. Both receptacles on both nightstand table lamps were unusable. I run an electrical contracting company and we have a contract with one of our five star resorts in our city, and these electrical items would not be tolerated at our resort. I don’t like giving bad reviews to places as that’s too easy to do. But I have to give constructive criticism where it is due, and those are issues that you could improve on.

The property was great! The problem is parking. You pay for parking in advance and have NO WHERE to park. Front counter tells you one thing, valet's tell you another. The room and hotel is lovely... the parking was a joke and made being there even more difficult!

I went to have brunch on Sunday morning. Went to the restaurant at 11:05. They told me they were closed. I said really. It doesn’t make sense. Why do you have a restaurant if it’s not open. Then she says to me that they open at 11. I double checked my watch and sure enough it was after 11. I reminded the person of this. She gave me a snotty look. She said she would check with the chef and see what they could do. Came back and told me one item on the menu that he could make. I said, never mind I’ll go somewhere else. Not what you expect from a hotel like this. All in all pretty good I would say though.

I all it was a good property overall but There was some mold issue in my washroom which is not expected from a property of their value. Also they need to keep an eye on fresh fruits. Some of the fruit were stale with green mold.
