We felt like the everyday scotsman. The simple, real life is what I enjoyed, unlike what a hotel room would have made us feel. The apartment was practical and spacious, clean and comfortable. We loved the surroundings, walked everywhere and enjoyed every bit of it.

The property is close to everything you need, It is close proximity to all the attractions, accessibility to transportation, shopping and dining. The property was very clean and the bed was comfortable with lovely linens. The kitchen was a great feature and was nice although we didn’t stay long enough to use it. Location was convenient to everything. When it was time to check in I hadn’t received my code but when I called I got that right away which was great. The only reason I didn’t rate it higher was there was no air conditioning so it was pretty warm. Also it was very loud. The living area faces a bunch of garbage cans and every so often someone would throw trash in …it was very loud. We also woke up to construction at 8:00 am which was also a bit annoying.

Clean room. Comfy bed. Sofa bed was fair. It was super hot ( no air conditioning ) so we asked for a fan and it came quickly .. our room was above the 2 bars and the garbage pick up zone so it was a bit loud. Great location for walking to all that the beautiful city of Edinburgh has to offer !

We stayed here for one night to attend a funeral. It was a last minute booking although we are very familiar with the area. The rooms themselves were fabulous, everything that was needed. We stayed on a random Wednesday night in November but despite this it was quite loud overnight. The property left earplugs which was a lovely touch and the noise doesn’t bother us but worth noting. Super close to everything needed and felt safe. The biometric entry is fab and no time is wasted with reception procedures.
