Sala-cocina, dormitorio y baño, equipado con absolutamente todo, esta al detalle. Esta a 15 minutos andando de la princess street y a 15 tambien de grassmarkt. En la calle de al lado hay un par de supermercados abiertos hasta las 23 00 por lo que es muy comodo para comprar lo que vayais a cocinar. Como pequeño fallo, la calefaccion no calienta demasiado y en el salon se notaba mas frio. La estructura de la casa es muy vieja, como toda la ciudad, y al andar la madera se movia por toda la casa. Nuestro apartamento, el 18, daba a la parte trasera asi que perfecto, no se oia ni un ruido, si da para la carretera imagino que seria mas ruidoso. Clean and basic but very expensive (probably because it was new year.) Had to call out the maintenance team as the hot water was not working but, it was soon sorted. Having an issue with fountain court as the receptionist charged me on checkin rather than taking a holding payment.(he acknowledged this was his mistake.) He was advised by his managed to refunded this at the end of the stay 'as it would be quicker for me' and was assured this would happen however, it has not. As I went to sort this out at the end of the stay i was again told it would be sorted that day and I would receive an email but, nothing as yet. The property is walking distance from major tourist attractions (20 to 30 mins) and very close to Haymarket Station so connectivity isn't an issue. A very comfy and quiet place with all the basic amenities inside. Although bathroom was small in comparison with other apartments but is acceptable. It's near the Conference Center, Princes Street, Edinburgh Castle, and several pubs. It's also near city buses that run every few minutes, buses that travel outside the city, and buses and the tram that provides run from and to the airport. The building is old and subject to things that go wrong. We had a hot water issues, but the staff was quick to fix the problem. The constant noise of the train traveling underneath us! If we were made aware of this prior to booking we would have gone elsewhere. It was borderline torturous.
