We never found staff on site, so were relieved to know we could get in. The location is perfect, however if you are looking for fancy or cozy, this isn't it. We were always on the go so only used the room to sleep in. The hotel provides a modern clean and comfortable room with all the essentials; but with none of the additional unnecessary frills. Ideally suited for solo travellers / couples who want to make the most of Edinburgh and the surrounding areas. Train and bus stations all within a 10/15 min walk, great bars and restaurants on your doorstep and Old Town 20 mins walk away, Haymarket 10 mins walk and Leith 30 mins. Staff are very friendly and helpful in person and by phone. I would not hestitate to stay here again.
