Excellent location and very spacious apartment. Kitchen was well equipped eventhough we didn’t need to use it much, but it is very handy having a fridge to keep snacks and drinks. Bathroom shower could use a bit of an update, the grout and floor was creaky but otherwise very clean.

The Edinburgh Castle Apartments are conveniently located to everything you can think of doing in Edinburgh. The apartment was perfect for our group of 4. Clean and spacious. We arrived at noon the day of our check in just to drop off our bags and explore Edinburgh, our room was already open for us! What a great bonus! Highly recommend the Edinburgh Castle apartments!

Fantastic old hotel with extremely clean, well-appointed room. There's a reason they call it "Edinburgh Castle Apartments and Suites". Nothing like stepping out of the cab and being overwhelmed by a view of the castle! It's on a street with lots of character but no crowds. Try the deli at the corner of the street for breakfast or lunch, or the chocolate drink shop anytime, or the Wind-in-the-Willows-themed restaurant next door, or the handmade items shop across the street. But pack lightly - we lugged our luggage up the winding staircase to the third floor.

We stayed here for two days. The location was great and very convenient for getting around the area. The apartment was also clean and well maintained. However, there were a lot of stairs to get to the room, which made carrying luggage difficult. Overall, the stay was okay, mainly because of the excellent location and cleanliness.

The staff were lovely and happy to help, the room was spacious, clean and filled with plenty of complimentary teas and coffee. Only issue we had was trying to get the shower to heat up. Location was very ideal as it was close to everything. Would absolutely stay again and recommend.

Great location, and the room was nice. The bed mattress and the nearby bar noise, however, was not ideal.

Perfect location

We really enjoyed our stay here - the property was within walking distance from everything we needed, the room was clean and had everything we required for our stay, and the communication before check in was fantastic. Really impressed by this place. We will definitely book again next time we head over to Edinburgh!
