Lovely room and bathroom

The room we were allocated (18) was lovely: extremely spacious and beautifully decorated. The bathroom was enormous and really beautifully done out. Parking is just on the road outside the hotel, but there was plenty of it. We had specifically requested a quiet room and there was no noise. The hotel is situated across the road from a lovely park, it was really nice to see so much activity, such as families playing together, sports teams training, people running etc. No complaints about our one night stay, just a few things that would have further enhanced the stay, for example: I'd have liked a light over the mirror above the dressing table/desk, a bin in the bedroom and a few more toiletries (one small shower gel and one small shampoo). Also, whilst the breakfast was lovely, the portion size was very small. It was a really lovely place to stay and we would definitely go back.

Terrible state of room!

The room that we stayed really needs renovation. The carpet looks from the past century and the general state of the room was terrible! The people who run the place are very nice and always try their best to help in every way.

Fijne locatie aan het park, met gratis parkeren. 20 min lopen naar de haven en 30 minuten maar het centrum. Fijne weg om te lopen, met diverse winkels, restaurants en bezienswaardigheden. Het personeel is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het ontbijt is simpel maar wel voldoende en lekker. Het hotel is ietswat verouderd maar dat is zeker niet storend. De badkamer van kamer 18 is fantastisch!!

Hotel ist ok. Frühstück gibt es leider nur bis 9:00 und um fünf vor neun wird angefangen wegzuräumen. Atmosphäre wirddadurch unentspannt. Zimmer wurden nicht täglich sauber gemacht. D.h. Volle Mülleimer nicht geleert, gläser nicht gespült usw. Der Rest war in Ordnung, aber auch nicht mehr. An sich ein nettes Hotel, aber der schottische Charme fehlt. Schade

VERY nice hotel

My friend and I stayed at the Cullen House Hotel for one night, and it was amazin! The room was huge and the bathroom was beautifu. The breakfast was also nice. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again!
