« 64 years old and stayed by myself in this Cottage. I felt safe and comfortable enough to go outside and take pictures of the night sky. I also went on adventures of nearby Creeks to look for beautiful rocks. Although Luray Caverns was only 5 Mi away I did not come here to visit the caverns. It was a nice Mountain getaway with beautiful scenic views on my drive there and back. "Cet hébergement se situe à moins de 5 minutes du Shenandoah Skyline Drive. C'est la raison pour laquelle nous l'avions choisi, puisque nous voulions rouler sur le Skyline Drive en moto. Si notre groupe de motocyclistes et moi avions su que c'était aussi sale et délâbré, nous aurions choisi un autre hébergement. Il y a une piscine extérieure, mais l'eau était brouillée. Le pourtour de la piscine était jonché de déchets. L'intérieur de notre chambre et la salle de bain étaient sales et avec beaucoup de traces de doigts sur les murs et les portes. Il y avait un espace d'environ 1/2 à 1 pouce entre la porte de la chambre et le cadre de celle-ci."

"Nous avons passé 3 nuits début juillet 2025 à Skyland, et ce fut une expérience exceptionnelle ! Notre chambre double avec deux lits queen était spacieuse, propre et très confortable. Elle disposait de tout le nécessaire : TV, Wi-Fi, machine à café, et surtout une superbe terrasse avec une vue à couper le souffle sur les montagnes de Shenandoah : un vrai bonheur au lever comme au coucher du soleil. Le personnel a été extrêmement accueillant et serviable tout au long du séjour, ce qui a rendu l’expérience encore plus agréable. L’hôtel est idéalement situé au cœur du parc, parfait pour rayonner sur Skyline Drive et profiter des randonnées sans passer trop de temps en voiture. Sur place, tout est prévu pour un séjour pratique et agréable : restaurant, bar, boutique, machine à glace, parking gratuit… (Seul petit point à noter : il n’y a pas de piscine, mais franchement, on ne vient pas ici pour ça !). Nous recommandons chaudement Skyland à tous ceux qui veulent profiter pleinement de Shenandoah NP dans un cadre naturel, calme et authentique. Nous y retournerions sans hésiter !"
