"We came to the hotel on the recommendation of a friend and we were pleased with our stay. The hotel is so charming, unlike chain hotels. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. We had a great view and were steps from restaurants, the beach and an ice cream shop.Newport was a quick drive and the Cliff Walk was minutes away. I would definitely return."

"Very nice property and close to key areas in Newport. Didn’t like the bed which appeared to be a full bed and not a queen. In the particular room that I selected, the bathroom was down stairs. The stairs was one of the curled ones; very tight to navigate up and down. I have a bad knee which didn’t make it easier. Otherwise. We enjoyed our stay."

"We had the best stay at Julie's property! The house is beautiful and well maintained. The view from the porch, living room and primary bedroom was outstanding and the proximity to the beach, Cliff Walk and Newport couldn't be better! Julie was incredibly helpful and checked in with us to make sure we had what we needed. Definitely hope to stay again soon!"

"Good location and not far from downtown Newport. We appreciated the free shuttle that went between the hotel and downtown. The hotel was very clean, the beds were very comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, the parking is free, and there is a nice patio and bonfire area. We would definitely stay there again!"

"Joan’s cottage was perfect for our recent trip to Newport RI. Very clean cozy place with kitchen and private bathroom. Shower has great water pressure and beds and couch very comfortable. Joan provided water for us as well as clean towels and made check in very easy. Location is very quiet and close to Easton Beach. Also short ride to 2nd st beach and Purgatory chasm (which is a must see magical spot!). Close to plenty of restaurants and short ride to cliff walk and downtown Newport. Also there is a local cat - Marty - who is super friendly and will welcome you while you’re there. We would definitely stay here again."
