« Went to celebrate a friends birthday. It was convenient to the Potomac Eagle train ride. Easy to find. The cabin was clean and very comfortable. Had a challenge using the tv but host helped and we enjoyed the movie. It is a small porch but had a great view. I read a comment about someone elses hot water problem but we had plenty. « We enjoyed our stay at this cosy cabin. There is a lovely view from the deck and the cabin was clean and comfortable. There is a big yard which our dogs loved! Cacapon State park is about 20 min away and has a lot of amenities including some great hikes. It is worth exploring. We liked Berkeley Springs Brewery, good beer and food about 25 min away. The road to the cabin is steep in places and in winter weather I would want AWD/4WD. We had a nice getaway and would stay here again. »

« This was our first time in the area, and we had a wonderful stay. The house was cozy and comfortable, and the hot tub was a wonderful bonus especially after a long day driving. We also enjoyed spending time on the deck, and playing with the lawn games provided. Harper’s Ferry National park was easy to get to and we really enjoyed exploring it. « We really enjoyed the property. It was clean. Internet worked well. Washer and dryer was nice. Too cold to enjoy the hot tub for me. My suggestions are a new shower head, thank goodness I didn’t have to wash my hair. The flow is too spread out and not enough to efficiently rinse as you shower. Second is a cheaper Kcup machine would be nice. Traveling with ground coffee is not really ideal for a quick trip away. Third thing I suggest is two beach towels (minimum) for the use of the hot tub.
