"We went to The View Eastbourne a few years ago and liked it so much we have been every year since. The staff are helpful and friendly, the room is great and so is the food. See you all again next year!"
"Great location on the beach and near the pier! Lovely old building and large rooms with big, beautiful marble bathrooms. They only offereda 20 pound buffet breakfast in the dining room and no dinner service. We had a la carte breakfast room service but it was cold. Filtered for laundry on Expedia website and it showed laundry facilities but none were available."
"Traditional proper British hotel. Given interior room without ability to open blinds- somewhat dark. But overall it was “an experience “. At 65 years old, we were the youngest in the hotel!!!
Excellent breakfast!"
"Beautiful room, spotlessly clean. Great location, easy walk into Eastbourne. Fabulous breakfast, continental and cooked breakfast freshly made to order. "
"Well located for sea front, parking opposite (get a ticket at reception) could be limited in summer. Clean and nicely decorated in room, friendly staff, good variety for breakfast and tasty. Room was a little noisy from creaky floorboards in adjacent rooms and banging doors(shame)."

"Can't complain about the hotel. staff were polite and friendly and it was a reasonable stay. Like a lot of hotels around the UK, they do look tired . the communal areas such as the reception and bar were ok and so where the rooms but could do with a makeover. Something to note, like other hotels, parking is awkward and you may not be able to park outside the hotel. "
