"Admiral Sims house was so charming and quaint. Our room was beautiful, clean and peaceful. Super high ceilings and natural light. The bed was sooo comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay. Marie and Shelley were a pleasure. We were walking distance to everything if you do t mind walking 15 min. We would definitely book the Admiral Sims house again. "

"We stayed for one night between visits to Newport and Boston. This is a really cute little town that I am happy to have discovered through an effort to avoid the crazy hotel prices in Newport. It was a nice big space with everything you need. Check in was easy with good instructions. The only issue is that it is on a main street with a lot of traffic (noise). Would have been easily remedied with white noise but my husband doesn't do white noise. :("

"Overall, it was very nice. The communication from the host on getting in an hour early and how the tv worked could have been better. I think having more than 2 towels and one face cloth per room was a little light. There was also no shampoo, conditioner bath soap. For $1000/night that could have been provided."

"Beautiful, spotless, private, gorgeous gardens to look at. Peaceful and seconds from coffee, restaurants and a beautiful waterfront park. I had to bring a mattress topper because of a back issue so I can’t comment on the bed. I will always ask to stay here when I go to RI!"
