"What a great Inn. The magic starts as you turn into Jackson and cross a covered bridge. Nothing like waking up to the smell of fresh coffee and scones. The complementary breakfast is a perfect start to the day and the hot tub after a day in the slopes is a great way to end it. JP is a super friendly and knowledgeable innkeeper who clearly values feedback and his customers. Will stay again! "

"Since the pandemic there is no daily cleaning service. You need to call the desk. Also new owners, not a good thing. Twice I was asked if I had been there before and I come back every year for over 10 years. "

"A cute spot! Stayed on the first floor which was fine because it was winter but if it was summer might be a little loud because of people on the deck."

"staying here is like staying at home. It's a very nice old time. Inn. if you're looking for something modern and flashy, this is not it. I have stayed here now twice and I will stay here again. I have stayed in most of the other places in the area and they were too modern and I didn't feel comfortable there. This had a nice warm feel they have a restaurant and a bar that serves food as well and they have entertainment at night. Along with having entertainment outside in the summertime. I highly recommend this establishment."

"I’ve been here numerous times over the past few years and have always loved everything about it. However, on this trip, I discovered that we had access to the amenities at their two sister properties, including an indoor pool and two outdoor pools. The other hotels are the Christmas farm inn and Whitney inn at the base of black mountain ski resort. We’ve eaten at both hotels too and we heartily recommend them. We also took the mixology class with James, which was a real treat. Thank you James, Mark, and the entire staff. See u soon. "

"It could not have been easier to get to Black Mountain, where we found 4 inches of fresh powder that had arrived the night before! Great fun. The staff could not have been nicer. We had a wonderful day in a lovely home with the most glorious view of the mountains. We enjoyed arousing game of Apple to Apple in front of a lovely fire. There was lots of room to fit four adults and four kids. The kitchen was beautifully stocked, so cooking was a pleasure. We enjoyed ourselves tremendously. Thank you."
