We enjoyed the use of the hot tub and the location to the Fort Lewis College was excellent for our travel to and from the college campus. We were curious if it would actually be “that close” to the pool and indeed it was! The condo was great and the window AC units functioned well to keep the heat away and the place comfortable. We basically went out for dinner most nights, but the kitchen was well stocked the night were cooked in. Overall, it was a great location for our family of four (kids 11 and 9). ##### Lee A. May 11, 2025 Liked: Check-in, communication, location Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy #### Disappointed We were excited to stay here, but the place left a lot to be desired. The communication was great, the location was great, however it was not the cleanest.The beds were not adequate. They were lumpy and the comforter could be updated. It seemed a bit on the used and dirty side. The “gift boxes” from VRC were used and had spills from some of the containers. The table was old and had dirty spots on it. This place really should be updated completely. The TV issue never did get resolved, in spite of Anna’s good attempts at helping us in the evening after we returned from our DSNGR trip and Andy’s telling us it would be fixed before we got back. Also, we were misled by the online description. It did not say that there would be three flights of stairs, and the condo looked to be way bigger than it was. The stairs were a real problem for four 80 old people who had to carry their luggage all the way up to the third floor, especially at that altitude. We were not aware that the upstairs bedroom was a loft and not an enclosed room. Also, we were surprised when we did not get a standard VRBO place, but something from VCR, a company which we were completely unaware of, or knew nothing about. We have had many good experiences with VRBO in the past and know of the good service they have offered. ##### Susan L. Aug 24, 2023 #### Colorado 2023 vacation Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental is about a mile from downtown.The condo was clean and neat. THE beds and pillows were very comfortable. The washer and dryer allowed us to wash a load of our clothes before heading home. The condo is nicely de orated and the carpet was very clean. It was only the two of us; but it would be a good place to take a family. There was a stand-alone air conditioner up stairs that we promply shut off. These stand-alones are meant to be vented due to warm air blowing out the back of it. At night we opened the windows and just used fans upstairs and it was comfortable. The water pressure was good and the commodes worked well. We reported a broken recliner to the agency and was told they were in the process of getting it replaced. The stairs outside really gave us a workput plus the split level in the house. We managed but I wouldn't recommend for senior citizens with heart and knee issues.
