"Only 2 complaints. The ice machine was broken, but the front desk did provide ice for us on demand so that worked out fine. The pool was closed. This was extremely disappointing because we planned to use it a lot for PT exercises every day. Breakfast was great. Staff were excellent!"

"I reserved the "cottage" to attend my 50th high school reunion. I suspected before arriving that I might know the area in which the house is located. Sure enough, as a teenager, I had been there to visit my boyfriend's grandmother who lived further up the road. I learned how to drive his father's VW Beetle straight drive on that road. So it was a very nostalgic experience, and it's a beautiful area of Scott Country.There is an interesting swinging bridge on the right as you turn to go to the house. While there, the family who owned it were having a 50th celebration. It was nice to be invited to join them. I had forgotten how friendly most people are in the area. Unfortunately we had a busy weekend so we didn't have time to walk across the bridge.We enjoyed the time we spent in the house. While it's an old house, it was very comfortable with the amenities we needed. I especially enjoyed the screened in front porch in the mornings while drinking coffee and looking out to the sun sparkling on the river across the narrow road. I was also pleased that we could take a walk not too far down the road and find adequate green space for our well-behaved dogs to do their business. It's important for us to find VRBO options that allow us to bring them with us."

"The stay was amazing. We came down for the Bristol nascar race and were welcomed with a very cozy and clean cabin. It had so much character and charm. Loved all the decorations and amenities! The beds were super comfortable, sheets were nice and clean, bathrooms were very nice also. We loved how peaceful and quiet it was this morning while we sat in the hot tub! Overall we definitely want to come back and possibly book a trout fishing trip or maybe just tube down the river lol!Jeff was an amazing host and answered promptly with any questions and was also very accommodating! Thank you guys so much!! It was very much appreciated!"

"What a great experience! Home was immaculate and well appointed. We loved our time on the deck in the rocking chairs listening to the water falls. I have never stayed at a property that provided so much information to help make our stay comfortable. A great get away. We will stay again!"
