This keyless system allows entry into the vacation rental through the issue of a “code” rather than a physical key. The code changes for every reservation so it is an incredibly safe alternative. By issuing the code prior to arrival, the check-in process is much easier. HOW IS THE WIFI? Blazing Fast! IS THERE AN ELEVATOR? No, but you don't need one! When entering through the alley garage space there is only one small step into the building, then its single level living! When entering or exiting through the street level door there is a half flight of stairs. YOU HAVE CABLE OR STREAMING CHANNELS AVAILABLE? Each TV is a Smart TV and each guest can log into their own streaming channel. Cable or local TV not provided, only available by logging into your personal streaming account. CAN I SHIP A PACKAGE TO MY VACATION HOME? We do not recommend shipping directly to the home, we do not have mailbox keys, and there are many different people with access to the home: vendors, housekeeping, staff, etc. so we cannot be responsible for packages once delivered. CAN I BRING MY PET? Unfortunately, pets are not allowed due to the lack of outdoor green space nearby. DO YOU PROVIDE DAILY CLEANING SERVICE? We provide a departure clean on all stays. WHAT IS PROVIDED WITH MY ACCOMMODATIONS? “Superior + Lake” has a kitchen with amenities including a microwave, coffee maker, toaster, crockpot and blender. Home is stocked with cooking and serving items including plates, bowls, and utensils, as well as a can opener, corkscrew, measuring spoons, and more. Both a Keurig and drip coffee maker, as well as a spices, salt, and pepper. There are bath towels and bed linens. We also provide an initial supply of trash liners, toilet paper, hand soap, and dishwasher soap. Bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and liquid body wash. Laundry facilities are also equipped with laundry detergent. WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM GUEST NUMBERS ALLOWED? You can bring in 8 overnight guests total. WHAT IF WE HAVE MORE THAN 1 VEHICLE? We have an attached private garage for one car. Additional vehicles can find street parking (meter during weekday business hours, free on the weekends), or use the parking garage (Tech Village Ramp) across the street for $12/day. However we did not realize there was such a large homeless population there. My younger daughter felt a bit unsafe. And one point a couple was sitting with all there things in front of the garage so we could not get out. The location was good for the wedding since the Greysolon ball room was just down the block. It was a fun weekend and we enjoyed our stay but I would be aware that there are a lot of homeless people wandering around and it’s a bit loud. ##### Kathy R. The only downside is that it is noisy from street noise. Obviously we expected some noise because it was downtown. There was only the two of us but certainly would accommodate a family very nicely. Comfy beds and well equipped. Bonus to have the foosball and other game in the main space. Layout was perfect for allowing people to be up and gather and not keep others awake. We were able to walk nearly everywhere we wanted to go as well. The kitchen was absolutely amazing—fully equipped with everything we needed to cook and feel at home. The master bath was a true highlight, featuring an incredible soaking tub and a steam shower that made for the ultimate relaxation after a long day of exploring. The property itself was clean, beautiful, and well-maintained, with thoughtful touches like Kleenex provided throughout and welcome snacks. The host was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. The location is ideal, with easy access to the Lake Superior path, coffee shops, restaurants, and the hockey arena. The only minor drawback was the presence of some homeless individuals in the area, but they kept to themselves and didn’t impact our stay.
