Minutes To Town! Acres of Privacy! Just 3 miles from City of Duluth, 3/4 mile from Lake Superior, near many rivers, & sight seeing areas along the North Shore. Perfect for your family get togethers. Very family friendly! Over the river and through the woods... Appreciate all the comfortable features and relax and enjoy close proximity to the North Shore & its sightseeing and yet only a few minutes from the City of Duluth! You will appreciate the rustic natural wood timbers, stone/tile & the heart of an authentic log cabin. The living room has a Danish wood burning soapstone fireplace. The formal dining room has 2 tables that will seat up to 12 people with the option of heated tiled floor. The main floor also has a bedroom and hand crafted stone tiled bathroom. All 3 levels each have a bath & bedroom(s). Master bedroom offers a queen bed and a guest bedroom suite which also has a queen size bed (accessed w/french doors from master bedroom). The lower level walkout has 3 bedrooms (2 queens & a king). The exterior features a large covered deck with grill and tables for dining and looks out onto the private property surrounded by trees. The property has a gentle slope. You may see deer on the property or evidence of them frolicking in the yard while you were out skiing or sightseeing. The property is not located on Lake Superior, but is less than a mile from the McQuade Safe Harbor/Boat launch on Lake Superior. High speed internet! \*\*This property is not handicapped accessible. And there are many steps that lead up to the house from the parking area. We had kids ranging from age 1-15 and there was something for all of them! The house had everything we need for the little ones and the teenagers loved the ping pong table. The large porch was everyone's favorite place to hang out. And Duluth was so close when we wanted to get out for a day activity. Highly recommend for large family gatherings! ##### Anna G. Loren was an extremely responsive and accomodating host. He quickly answered our pre-arrival questions and was on top of any questions or requests during our stay. The house was well appointed and spacious. The kitchen had the supplies and utensils needed to cook meals for our group of 10\. We loved hanging out on the beautiful, large porch and watching the stars and wildlife. Location was convenient to everything we wanted to do. We would absolutely stay here again. ##### Deb H. They all went to the loft room to claim their nighttime spot! (My oldest mentioned the next morning that she could see the stars through the window and she felt so blessed).Throughout our stay we heard their joy playing ping pong, cornhole and cards. The deck was our choice for meals, music, playing 5 crowns and Uno and so much more. With the 12 of us just enjoying family and the outdoors and lovely wild flowers. (We really had no bug issues at all). S’mores by the fire, family photos and all the love we could share with each other.We had tears as our family gathering came to an end.
