Came to Ireland for part of our Honeymoon, we were so pleased with this hotel! A wonderful surprise. Starting from the easy check in! They also gave us welcome candy & a welcome drink. Nicholas the Bar Manager was super welcoming. We enjoyed drinks at the bar but did find that the main courses were not great as they lacked in flavor & freshness. Go for the appetizers. Overall a pleasant stay and would visit again & recommend to others.

The property looks amazing and is clean however the rooms are small. There is hardly any space between the bed and the wall. Also, if you do stay, make sure you get a room with a view as some rooms are on the ground floor and you cannot see out of the windows because they are frosted so people passing by cannot see in. Breakfast wasn't great if you have coeliac/ gluten intolerance. The food wasn't labelled well. Also, the scrambled eggs was overcooked and you could cut it in slices. Empty food trays were not refilled quickly so we had to wait around or go without some food. Some staff were very helpful whilst others appeared not to make the customer a priority. Pricewise, i booked/ paid through Expedia and when I checked the price the following day for the same rooms/ dates for some friends to join us, I was surprised to see it was over £100 cheaper. Expedia say they offer a price match however, even though it was on their website for cheaper than i paid them, they have refused to refund the difference. Expedia are saying this is because the hotel won't refund the difference. This is unacceptable as my contract was with Expedia therefore on the prise match promise, I believe they should pay the difference. We had communication with a lovely manager on Weds 1st May in the evening. She was very helpful and tried to resolve some issues. Unfortunately I didn't get her name but she was very professional. Personally I won't be staying in the hotel again.

Nice stay. Very different but we loved the feel and vibe. Rooms are very small. Not much room for luggage and hard to get around with two people as only one person can squeeze past the bed at one time. Bathrooms are great. The two shower heads are super nice. Food was good and staff was very personable. We had issues with our room getting cleaned. Was super frustrating being gone literally ALL day only to come back to an untouched room. Thought they were going to clean it since they were finishing up the room next to ours so went to the lobby for over an hour and it still wasn’t done. No excuse for that in my opinion!!

We enjoyed our stay at the NYX. The room was comfortable and the staff friendly. The only complaint we had was that whilst towels were replaced our bathroom was not cleaned whilst we were there (3 nights).

I liked this property. The beds were great…though not king size as claimed (they were queens). The staff were very helpful and efficient. I loved that there were plenty of glasses and coffee in the room. The only off putting thing was the strange artwork. They were large canvases of sci-fi models in strange poses that hinted at porn. The area was convenient and pleasant.

Very nice hotel! Clean, new, chic. Friendly staff. Upscale, modern. Gym facilities were nice with new equipment, but there were no towels or spray cleaners to clean equipment after use. Other than that, nothing to improve.

We booked a brand new hotel for our stay in Dublin because it was a good deal. I think it is an OK place if the price is good and your usual place is higher but the lobby makes you think the room will be a bit nicer than it is. To be fair the bed was comfy which is not always the case. We had an important event to get ready for which was timely and they were running behind with room cleaning so we had to wait an extra two hours to check in which made things pretty stressful for us. It might have been a longer wait, but I had them give me a room that wasn't as nice as the one we had booked. The room had no window that you could open or see out of which made the room very airless and too dry and I kept waking up with throat and eye issues but that maybe I am more sensitive to that. A few strange design flaws, very compact and no lights next to the bed, only lots of overhead lighting. To be honest it probably wouldn't be too bad if it wasn't for the wait and the windowless room. Maybe some of these things will be fixed after it is open a bit longer. The staff was very nice though.

Check in is at 3pm but room was not ready when we arrived at 6pm. Offered complimentary drinks while waiting which didn’t arrive. We were then given a voucher for 2 drinks when we asked again about our room. We also had to ask for bath towels as there wasn’t any in the bathroom. Quiet room though.

The hotel was great, very clean and comfortable. The staff were very accommodating, particularly when discussing leaving baggage and facilitating a late check out. Would recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Dublin, particularly anyone who needs access to Dublin City South.

Had a few issues with this hotel and won't be coming back. No place in the lobby to eat take away food, since they operate their restaurant in the entire lobby. When I lost my room key while out and about, they gave me a new one, and didn't ask for ID. My friend requested a cab to go ge our car from the parking garage, and when he came back they had checked him out of his room early.

In a word, disappointing. Frankly, if you aren’t white I’d stay away from this hotel. They will give you service but the bare minimum. I came with friends and was seemingly banished to the worst floor in the hotel. My room was across from an electrical room that beep 24/7. The staff would take room service trays and just pile them up on the floor. An alarm went off at 230am and wasn’t addressed for a half an hour. And when I left the hotel to run an errand, they checked me out, locking me out of the elevators and my room where all my belongings were then attempted to gaslight me telling me I checked out. I absolutely did minutes later.
