The property looks amazing and is clean however the rooms are small. There is hardly any space between the bed and the wall. Also, if you do stay, make sure you get a room with a view as some rooms are on the ground floor and you cannot see out of the windows because they are frosted so people passing by cannot see in.
Breakfast wasn't great if you have coeliac/ gluten intolerance. The food wasn't labelled well. Also, the scrambled eggs was overcooked and you could cut it in slices. Empty food trays were not refilled quickly so we had to wait around or go without some food. Some staff were very helpful whilst others appeared not to make the customer a priority.
Pricewise, i booked/ paid through Expedia and when I checked the price the following day for the same rooms/ dates for some friends to join us, I was surprised to see it was over £100 cheaper.
Expedia say they offer a price match however, even though it was on their website for cheaper than i paid them, they have refused to refund the difference. Expedia are saying this is because the hotel won't refund the difference. This is unacceptable as my contract was with Expedia therefore on the prise match promise, I believe they should pay the difference.
We had communication with a lovely manager on Weds 1st May in the evening. She was very helpful and tried to resolve some issues. Unfortunately I didn't get her name but she was very professional.
Personally I won't be staying in the hotel again.
