Housekeeping was very good. Staff friendly and informative. Security staff excellent.
Menu and quality of food in the lounge was very poor. Breakfast was very good. With the heave incoming coach tours ...service in the lounge to regular guests was very poor.both timing and quality of food. For the prices charged..the quality and variety should have been much higher.

Conveniently located across from christchurch cathedral. But be warned! The cathedral bells ring Everyhour on the hour yes, at: 2,3,4,5&6 in the morning. Also skip the executive rooms not worth it: they are on the top floor and they are particularly warm. There was a fan in the room but hardly enough to counteract the heat. Window are tethered such that they only open a few inches. Hardly enough to counteract the heat build up. Lastly, the bathroom is tinyand rather awkward as the tub/shower sits higher that the floor by at least 6 inches.
I relied heavily on reviews when choosing my hotels for my Ireland trip so I want to give as much detail as possible. First the location is great. It is close to everything but still in a nice quiet area. It directly across the street from Christ Church and is a 5 minute walk from Temple Bar area. We did several tours to Giants Causeway and Cliffs of Moher. The transportation pick up spot is very convenient- a 10 minute ( or less) walk straight down Dame Street. The staff were incredibly helpful - they printed boarding passes for us and held our luggage when we arrived early or when we wanted to tour on our departure day. The beds were comfortable. The water temperature was good and they have body wash, shampoo and a hairdryer. Only cons - no air conditioning (but I don’t think any hotels in Ireland has it). There was a fan in the room. The room temp was fine - but the heavy comforters on the bed were a little hot. I would ask for an extra sheet or lite blanket when checking in. I read in other reviews that the bathroom door was heavy - it’s true. It is quite heavy. I propped it open with a trash can. Lol. Certainly not a big deal! I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again for sure!
Room was absolutely boiling hot so very difficult to sleep. Only a small fan which was on a timer so had to get up every two hours to reset, probably wouldn’t stay here again for this reason. Staff were lovely especially at breakfast. Breakfast selection was decent enough but could be improved by a bit more choice. Beds were comfortable and room clean, bathe extractor fan not working & rooms looking a bit tired now.
No air conditioning, the door to our room was broken barely locked. We fear that our things would get stolen by someone going in our room. We always walked out with most of our things in tow when we left the room. Room was not cleaned just offered towels and toilet paper. Very unpleasant. Will never stay here nor will we recommend it
Jurys Christchurch is a terriffic location in centre of old , historic Dublin.
However..personal service is very lackin which is a pity. Male staff on reception gave us..no help or attention as we booked in. A stay in a City Hotel should feel bit personal.
Room was very clean and had kettle fr tea & coffee. Shame...about service.
So location cannot be beat, you can walk everywhere. Downside is there on a rugby weekend so the price increase would make your eyes water, then to charge for breakfast when the price is already up by £200-250 for the night is just profiteering at its worst. Room described as a double with a single bed, in reality it was a double and a hastily made up sofa bed, only rectified when on book in it was obvious me and my son didnt want to share a double. So we were put in a double room not what we booked. Room was average, clean, bed was passable although sofa bed was awful, bathroom clean. Safety instructions on door werent for the room or even the right floor. So all in all hotel is in great location and I'm assuming if it wasnt a sports event on the price may be more realistic for what you get.
