"We were excited to stay at the Blue Star motel for the first time! We’ve always stayed right in town normally and this was a change for us. Our room was absolutely beautiful, so quaint, very clean and very comfortable. Loved the back deck area with pavilion and plenty of space to stretch out. The location was ideal as we could avoid the chaos in downtown Saugatuck and opt for other places to try for shopping and for eating. The Blue Star cafe was delicious! And right next door was the best...

AmericInn by Wyndham Douglas/Saugatuck

AmericInn by Wyndham Douglas/Saugatuck

8/10 Good
"Beds very comfortable, lovely spacious room, the only things that let it down was, no shower gel or rubber non slip bath mat and the lighting in the room was very dull, only two lights in the bedroom one on the table and one between the beds. There should be lights in the ceiling to make it brighter. Breakfast was passable but not as good as in the UK!"
