"Really a fantastic place. Extremely friendly staff that goes out of their way to may your stay enjoyable. Loved the views and waking up to the sound of the cascading waterfall, the large common room with a fireplace and balconies over the stream. Highly recommended. "

"We were pleasantly surprised at how big and clean the room was. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and we slept so well there in that quiet hotel. The water pressure was perfect for my hot shower. The check in clerk was charming to talk to when we checked in, even though we were there quite late- after 9pm. We didn’t have time to make use of the free breakfast opportunity, but the restaurant looked really nice- very open and well decorated. I would definitely stay here again."

The property was beautiful, with a view of the river, and there was space to walk our dog. There were two firepits outside for evening camaraderie. Hancock is a cute town; we attended a musical performance in the town square/park and had a wonderful time. Staff is terrific. :-)"
