« We just loved every minute of staying here. The house/ property is so full of charm. You absolutely cannot beat being so close to the attractions all around Williamsburg. After touring and doing activities, it was so nice to settle down at the beach! We loved sitting on the screen porch looking out at the water, and taking in all of the beautiful views. « Cottage très propre et bien confortable avec tout ce dont nous avions besoin. Une vue fabuleuse sur le fleuve, une plage privée, un calme absolu, des balbuzards pêcheurs comme spectacle journalier.... Seuls points négatifs: salle de bain/ toilette vraiment petite, par contre fonctionnant très bien. Et les lits faisaient 130 cm de large( après vérification!)... Un peu étroit pour des couples. Malgré cela, nous avons passé une très bonne semaine, vraiment ressourçante et dépaysante! »

« The River House at Claremont was one of the best properties we have ever stayed in. I am a huge Gone With the Wind fan and this property brought you back to the South prior to the Civil War all we needed were ball gowns to make it really authentic. The house was well appointed with the necessaries (toilet paper, tissues, and toiltetries). In addition the kitchen pantry had salt, pepper, flour and other staples. The interior of the house is amazing with much of the furniture handmade by the owner...

« We had a fantastic stay! The house is gorgeous and we loved spending our evenings on and along the river. There was lots of space for our group of 8 to have their own rooms and bathrooms. Using the ferry (which was only 5 minutes away) to get across to Jamestown and Williamsburg was easy and greatly enjoyed by my children. We hope to stay here again in the future! »

« Un resort fantastique avec de très belles maisons individuelles. Très spacieuse bien équipée. De nombreuses activités, piscine, mini golf, ping pong tennis… Seul bémol le personnel n’est pas très sympathique. »
