"We chose the Queen’s Hotel for its convenient location to restaurants, shopping, and sites in downtown Lerwick. The property is older and still needs some renovation, but the staff — specifically Rory & Pete — were extremely hospitable and helpful. There is no onsite restaurant, but the staff provided great local recommendations that are easily walkable. "A very nice room although I found the bed a bit soft. The staff are extremely nice and accommodating. The breakfast was excellent. I ate in the restaurant twice but recommend eating at some of the restaurants in town."

"Perfect location for my trip -- centrally located for day trips in every direction. Yet close to town, and Tesco. With a beautiful view of the water! I had my own car, but the bus to town went by out front. The kitchen is well appointed. The recliner for watching TV suited me well. Plenty of hot water in the kitchen and bath. I'll return as soon as I can."
