The makeover and additions to a centuries old stone country farm house are magnificent but not pretentious (describes the ambiance of our stay). If by train taxies a more miss than hit...the proprietors generously pick us up and returned us to the Gare' 25 minutes away (and should charge at least 30 euros for the round trip). A setting Forrest and reflection."

The room (magnolia) is spacious and well decorated with a fridge, kettle selection of tea and coffee and a comfy circular sun chair. Everything was spotlessly clean. "What a wonderful place to get together with our extended family. The pool was spotless, kitchen was well stocked and plenty of room to have time out if needed. The showers in some of the rooms are not for the curvier body, as very narrow entrances, but there's enough other showers in the house, so not a problem. The jacuzzi was not working for our visit, sadly, but the indoor pool was a bonus. There was plenty to do in the house if the weather was bad, and lots of exploring to be done. It's a 25...

"We had a great stay at La Souleiade. We were a large extended family group of 33 from Australia and the property was perfect for us. Large yard for the children to play, swimming pool was used often and the outdoor dining area was perfect for our needs. Easy drive to many of the beautiful villages in the surrounding areas. Beds were comfortable. Hosts were extremely helpful."
