Great new hotel, the only suggestions I would have to offer this resort are 1 - to add/include some art in the rooms. The walls were empty/blank...perhaps they are still waiting to add this feature to the rooms but there is so much fantastic art in Nicaragua I would love to see that reflected in the rooms. 2 - landscaping, while the grounds were very neat/tidy I was surprised they did not have more plants with flowers/color as the general area around San Juan Del Sur has a lot of different...

This place is beautiful and within 2 mi. Walk from nuce restaurants and bazzar. Spacious and beautiful I recommend this place 1000/100. No parking but prked on the street in front if the hitel no problem.

I wish I could give this place a low score to keep it off people’s radar, but I can’t keep this gem to myself. Where to start…The staff are all amazing and super helpful. Willing to book horse back riding, taxis or get you set up with a motorcycle rental. The rooms are cleaned daily and there is always someone around to take a food or beverage order. Great little BnB with only 4 rooms on the property. Talia and Delmar are awesome hosts right down to the authentic Nicaraguan breakfast. The location can’t be beat. Just steps from Long Bay beach and the views are incredible! I was in the Salty Air room with a great ocean view from the balcony. I would go back!

Excellent! I've been traveling in and out of Nicaragua for 10 years. I generally stay at the Camino Real based on its proximity to the airport and the areas I work but have also stayed at the Barcelo when working closer to downtown. Both the Camino Real and the Barcelo are worth the money but the Holiday Inn Express hands down topped them both and for half the price. I don't know what the listed price on the HIE but I paid $55 for a cleaner, more modern room and MUCH more comfortable bed. I...

This is a wonderful hotel and exceeded all our expectations. The staff were always friendly, cheerful, engaging and and helpful. We had a large room, with a very large, comfortable bed and a balcony with a view of the city. The breakfast was excellent with a wide Range of choices, including fresh fruit and made-to-order omelettes. We used the fitness centre and swam in the swimming pool: delightful!

Normally we stay right at the airport at the nearest hotel but we decided to try something new. At $40 less and with a great hot shower and the mall next door this is our new option as it has a shuttle service. Looking forward to staying here again.

Staff are very polite and helpful! For directions landmark the place is close to the Maxi Pali in Santa Ana. Same street from the back.
