Masaya is located 20 km south of Managua, Nicaragua. It is Nicaragua's first and largest National Park. As you can see off to the left, it is quietly letting you know it's there. If your eyesight is bad, your nose will let you know it too!!

Apoyo Lagoon rests in the crater of an extinct volcano.  At the lookout point there are many shops/vendors and places to eat and a restroom (for a price).  It's very windy and much cooler up there so bring layers!  This is a must see when in Nicaragua!
