"Positive: Staff is very friendly, pro-active and helpful, even for Myanmar standards. Breakfast is pretty good with the usual rice, noodles, fried vegetables, soup, rubber bread, eggs, bananas. Rooms have mosquito meshing. Negative: The rooms are awful. They are dated and in desperate need for a make-over (when did they last paint?!), especially the bath rooms. Cleaning is very superficial. I was careful what to touch and pretty engrossed. Rooms are so small, I can't see how 2 people would fit...

"Overall I don’t know that I recommend this hotel. First, the good: the entire staff was super friendly and accommodating, it was easy and reasonably priced to book a private taxi through the hotel for day trips, and the breakfast buffet was really good.
