« We stayed in a two bedroom , supposed two jacuzzi tubs. The cabin had no toilet paper in one bathroom and the other only had a shower tub combo. The bedding was clean and fresh and so were the towels but it was very musty smell so we did use air fresheners. The lodge was very nice and so was the spa. »

« We got the basic room. It was very nice. We had two queen beds, large room, and great air conditioning. I did not like the bathroom because for some reason the toilet and the vanity with the sink were extremely low. They were lower than the standard hight. I also woke up stiff from the bed but my husband said his bed was good for him. We ate at the restaurant, I got the Rueben sandwich, it was good but could have used a little more kraut and a little less dressing. The salad with blue...

« After many miles of riding on the GAP and C&O Towpath, the Canal Cabins were a welcome and much needed hiatus! The cabin was cozy and clean, air conditioned, with many personal touches one would need, like bike tools! The bathroom was clean and the shower was hot. And free laundry! Would highly recommend and would stay here again! Thank you for a great experience! »

« This cabin needs a LOT of care. It was OK for our purposes, because we just needed a place to sleep more than anything, but if we were actually looking to "vacation" or "rest and relax" it left a lot to be desired--especially regarding upkeep and how it was furnished 1. Our sheets had HOLES in them! 2. No toiletries, other than body wash in the bathroom 3. No bath mat 4. Insufficient towels 5. Not enough dishes or mugs 6. No sponge for washing dishes, or anything to clean and wipe down...

« I attempted to stay here. As soon as I entered the hallway, I was hit with the strong smell of cigarette smoke. When I got to the room, the code Inwas given did not work. This was definitely not a single family home. It reminded me more of a bed and breakfast without the breakfast as there was a common area for the kitchen. When I contacted the host, she offered to send the cleaning people to spray the smoke away. No amount of spray will remove this amount of smoke. I was in the building less...

« We had a wonderful stay. The home was well stocked for all occasions. It was a wonderful romantic getaway! »

« The history of this place is worth 5 stars. The original cabin built in 1800 is situated on a nice piece of land thats surrounded by trees and is very peaceful, despite only minutes from town. When I entered the house, I was expecting to see ghosts behind corners or hear footsteps across the floor, it's has that kind of vibe. The house was quirky, floors in the living room and bedrooms sloped, original woodwork and the stairs were narrow and steep, which just adds to the authenticity and age of...

« It was exactly what we needed for my groomsmen and I the night before my wedding, a clean, open space with private bedrooms and 4 beds. Perfect for a quick stay! »

« The cabin was very clean when we arrived. The kitchen and bathroom were spotless. The host is awesome and responds quickly to any concerns or even just recommendations of the area. We stayed here and ventured out to the nearby trails and small towns. Our time at and around the cabin was very enjoyable. »
