"Bij aankomst kregen we niet de kamer die wij geboekt had. Volgens de receptionist hadden wij één upgrade gekregen, omdat de kamer die wij geboekt hadden niet beschikbaar was op dat moment. De ‘upgrade’ was alles behalve een upgrade. Je had geen mooi uitzicht en moest trappen lopen om bij je kamer te komen. Wij hebben dit geweigerd. "The hotel in general exceeded my expectations. As a road warrior I typically end up staying at Hampton inn type properties. Unima Grand is the Hampton inn of Male. Great familiar like environment to make you feel comfortable. The staff connected via WhatsApp prior to arrival at to make the transfer from the airport to hotel seamless. Check in was smooth with formalities filled out while I waited at the airport. Breakfast and the on site restaurant was exceptional! Lots of fresh local offerings at a very good price. Only 2 areas for improvement. Wifi was limited to 1 device at a time. My door had some issue with the lock. Possibly a low battery. Again, nothing really to complain about."
