« A very pleasing stay the only downside was the 4 flight's of stairs to get to the room. The toilet seat was loose and a few things in the rooms needing improving like the kitchen lino that wasn't laid properly but above all a nice hotel with great views of Douglas Harbour. »

« We were very comfortable in the beautiful apartment which had stunning views. We were well looked after. However, we left very early in the morning and couldn’t work out how to get hot water out of the shower! If it had been at a more respectable time, we would have asked for help, but it was far too early to summon anyone. Clear instructions would have helped in this situation. Overall we were very pleased with our short stay. »

On one corner of the bed there is only six inches in which to get past. The wardrobe is not great quality and the sliding door comes of it’s rail easily. « The Empress is in a great location. The bus stop from the airport is extremely close (4). This id ideal for exploring the whole island. Staff were very friendly, we dropped off luggage prior to check in. The hotel seems to have recarpeted throughout and underlay very comfortable. Room was a Triple as we travelled as a family of 3 Adults. 3rd bed was a proper single not a pull out. Room was quiet, extremely clean and well maintained. Breakfast was faultless. We ate on 2 occaisions in the Piano...
