« The employee who checked us in was so friendly and helpful. »

« It was convenient to everything I was in town for. »

« We had a great stay. Very clean, affordable and within walking distance from fast food and sit down options. »

« Clean room and good rate for the room. »

« My book club (all 50) rented Grandpa's Pool House and had a ball. We did all things 70s and the house was a great fit for our tator tot hotdish meals, shrinky dink crafts and Sloe Gin Fizz drinks. We had a couple hiccups with our stay, and the host and property manager responded immediately and made everything right. »

« Was a really nice little house had everything we needed. We caught plenty of fish mostly bullheads 7inchs long, one right after another from the dock at anytime. Did get 1 nice largemouth bass and couple crappie as well as one sunfish. Boat was 12ft plastic jon boat and kayaks were really nice as well. Easy to put in the lake and get out next to the dock. Information we could find on the lake was not really deep only about 11ft. Views from the house were great nice patio door so you could see...

« Great place to stay. We plan to come back in the future. »

« Great little place to stay! »

« The reasons I did not give a five stars are.1. The washer was not working 2. There is not a hand rail by the steps at the front door. Dangerous carrying suitcase and bags into the house.3. No grab bars in the bathtub, very dangerous especially for older persons.4. Throw rugs everywhere. Again a tripping hazard for older persons, We rolled them up and placed them out of the way. »

« Clean lake house »

« The property was both quiet and spacious as advertised. We were in town for the Land O Lakes National at Rum River BMX in Isanti. This property was very convenient to that location. The locks were finicky — and noted by other guest — but the host was super responsive in getting these resolved immediately. Great property — excellent host! »

« Our family had a wonderful time. The house location is great with excellent river access. Even with 11 people staying we had plenty of space and comfort. We especially appreciated all the extras for indoor and outdoor activities. »

« Pet friendly . Clean cabin. Great location on the lake. »

« This was our third stay at this property. Upgrades were recommended to our host following our stay in 2025 which we found completed this year. A very enjoyable vacation was had by all. The smoke from the wild fires in the BWCAW was intense for a couple days. Everyone is planning for a repeat stay (fourth consecutive) in 2027. Thanks Matt. »

« Beautiful and well equipped. It was our hang out place while babysitting our infant grandson while our daughter attended a wedding. Beds are great! Living room couch was comfortable. The bathroom is small but very clean. Would stay there again if ever needed to. »

« Great place to visit. Beautiful house. Well appointed with anything you might need. »

« I like the close walk to nearby bar/restaurants. Very clean easy smooth check in »
