"WOW!! I rented a cabin on the ocean side of the hotel, and it was WONDERFUL hearing the ocean crashing from my bed each morning and evening. I live in Guatemala, so my standards for facilities have been affected accordingly. This is a beach cabin with a thatch roof and you CAN SEE through the cracks on the floorboards. This area of Guatemala is HOT all year round, but there is a fan in the cabin which helps immensely. The bathroom was not fancy, and you could see the ground beneath the shower...

"The rooms are very clean and comfortable in every way. The fixtures in the bathroom are a bit dated, but everything is clean and in perfect working order. The staff is unbelievably polite and helpful. There is a restaurant in the hotel and the food is absolutely wonderful with great, attentive service.
