"BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN CHOOSE TO STAY HERE: This place is TRULY not easy to get to, it is located at the top of the hill and a bit out of the Mykonos town area. You are required to walk up a steep road without street lights and a very long stairs to get to from the very edge of the town area. It just feels so creepy particularly at night. "The service is what truly sets this place apart. While the property is a bit outdated and I wouldn’t personally describe it as “luxury,” the staff more than make up for it with their exceptional hospitality and attentiveness. One important tip: you’ll definitely want to have a car. There is a beautiful restaurant on property. Otherwise, there’s nothing within walking distance no market, ice cream shop, or other conveniences. If you don’t plan to rent a car, the resort can arrange paid transfers. We had both and it worked out great. It’s about a 20 minute drive to town, and I think it’s well worth staying here and commuting. The beach is absolutely beautiful. It’s private, peaceful, and never feels overcrowded like many of the nearby beaches. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway with outstanding service, a quiet beachfront, and don’t mind being a short drive from town, this is a great choice."

"The view was marvelous from the restaurant and pool. Having our personal small pool was amazing. The staff was wonderful in arranging all the transportation that we needed an excursion, such as horseback riding, which was marvelous. The breakfast was sensational. The staff of the restaurant was exceptional. We will definitely come here again."

"Stunning property, let down by management and privacy issues. OKU Kos is beautiful. The 20m pool is spotless and great for fitness. However, our room's private pool lacked privacy; gaps in the walls allow neighbours to see right in, ruining any chance of skinny-dipping. The beach is stunning with comfy sunbeds, though it gets very windy.Food is a mixed bag. Breakfast is outstanding with perfect poached eggs, and the bar staff serve wonderful cocktails. However, the chef consistently overcooks fish. We had to send a tuna dish back, though they did compensate us with free drinks. Spa treatments are good, but note the hammam and sauna cost extra to turn on.Guest services need major improvement. First, the hotel tried to downgrade our room category pre-arrival, forcing a stressful 3-hour phone call with our travel agent to fix.Second, the Guest Services Manager ignored our pre-arrival emails and only said a brief hello on night three, seeming clueless about our profile.Third, swapping half-board dinner for lunch was a struggle, though a kind receptionist eventually helped us on our final day.Finally, for the World Cup semi-final, they just gave local suggestions instead of offering to make a booking for us. This is not luxury concierge service.It is still a great location for couples or groups, but do not expect true 5-star service."

"I was nervous about this resort reading prior reviews. We were upgraded on check in to a sea view room, it was beautiful. The front desk staff were all very helpful and answered all my questions. Our check out was later on in the evening and the hotel gave us towels and a place to store our bags so we could enjoy another beach day. They also have a shower stall near the lobby. We used the loungers next door at yialo yialo for 30 euro each front row, 25 euro each for second row and back. Hotel transport contacted us via what’s app to arrange transfers. To town was 35 euro each way. From airport it was 40 euro. Breakfast was continental style buffet, a variety of choices. The beach and location were gorgeous. If you’re booking a budget room then expect that, that’s the same for any resort. If you book the sea view you should have no complaints. This was a great hotel for us (middle aged mom and teen daughter)."
