"Smaro studios is a beautiful property with private suites facing the caldera. It's worth noting that it is a 10-15 minute walk downhill to Fira, although the bus stop is close and viable, and that each evening you'll fight the uphill on a full stomach. The manager/owner is helpful and the suites are kept cleaned daily. Ultimately a very nice getaway and would rebook again. "

Arranged inexpensive airport transfers; early check-in, with a nice introduction to the local area; carefully moved our luggage; welcome bottle of wine; lovely breakfasts on our private balcony overlooking the caldera. Clean and fairly comfortable room (a bit cramped for 2 large suitcases) and nice shower. "I Really recommend this poroperty, very nice, very clean, and close to shopping. The cons. Very annoying ,a surveillance camera pointing to the hot tub, honey mooners/no recommend. There is pretty much no water on the showers."

"We stayed for a couple nights. The hotel is well located and the bus station is pretty near. The pool looks different from the images (advertising with night photos?). My biggest concern goes to the bedding. They really need to change the covers wall the stuff. "

"This is a great place to stay in the middle of town. Rooms are as advertised in photos. Breakfast was good and it’s lots of choices. Only downside is that there are lots of stairs to get to and from rooms… could be a challenge for some travelers"

"It took us some time to find the hotel in the dark. But the off street parking was convenient. We loved the cave-house settings. The view from our suite to the ocean was incredibly beautiful especially the sunset. The walk in the surrounding area was very pleasant. The hotel staff was friendly. The food was good but pricy. "We stayed in the Thea villa which is located at the back of the villa complex. The villa itself was very clean, the hot tub was lovely and there is a Carrefour literally about a minute walk from the villa. We had an optional free breakfast which was nice of cold cuts, bread, coffee and juice. The sunrise from the villa itself is such a sight to behold and you can see it from bed which is an added bonus.
