Manos and the team were absolutely amazing with their service throughout our 9 nights at Spitia. They had the best recommendations for restaurants and were able to arrange taxis/transfers, massages, and excursions and tailor it to our needs. We felt extra comfortable with our stay because of the kindness and expertise of Spitia’s team. If available, make sure to stay with them! Captain’s House is a perfect stay if you want to be under one roof with two bedrooms and two baths and have a lot of living space, inside and out. I stayed at the Spitia Santorini Captain House, and it was a wonderful experience. The house is full of charm and character. Upon entering, you’re greeted by an outdoor garden seating area with views of the lower street and parking area. The bedroom balcony offers a stunning sunset view, and there’s no need to visit the crowded spots unless you're seeking a view of the iconic blue roofs. The house has a spacious living room, making it very comfortable for a family stay. The location is also great just a short walk from the main area of Oia, with easy access to bars, restaurants, and local shops. The cleaning lady was very kind and courteous, and Manos, the host, was incredibly attentive, staying in touch to ensure that I had everything I needed. Our stay was absolutely amazing! From the moment we booked, the service we received from Mano was outstanding. He went above and beyond to help us arrange transportation from the airport to the villa, which was smooth and totally worth it. While Uber prices were about the same, our driver was extremely friendly, and the van was very comfortable.He also assisted with a semi private Catamaran tour, which was totally worth it! The villa itself was perfect for our group. The space was well-maintained, very comfortable and came with daily housekeeping, which was a big plus. The location is ideal—just a short walk from the main walking area of Oia, but tucked away enough to offer peace and privacy. You’re close to everything without the noise and crowds. Several good restaurants within a couple of minutes. One thing to note: the “pool” is quite small by U.S. standards. I’d describe it more as a cold tub or plunge pool, not ideal for swimming, but still a nice spot to cool off and relax. We also appreciated the high-quality toiletries, reliable Wi-Fi, and the incredible sunset views from the deck. Our room lost power amd water pressure one morning, bed could be more comfortable, but overall our stay was magical. We give it a ten and we would be back in a heart beat.
