"The pros: The grounds are impeccable, the staff was absolutely amazing and our room was the best we've ever had. We opted for the two story honeymoon suite with the plunge pool and it was worth every penny.
Cons: The beach was almost unswimmable because of the seaweed. We went in late June. Do your research before you go. We didn't and the seaweed was relentless and often 2-3 feet high all the way along the beach each morning. The staff worked tirelessly to clear it each day, but the seaweed kept coming in waves for 6 straight days.
We were thoroughly unimpressed by the food considering how amazing the complex was. We often ate at places more than once and the consistency of the food was severely sub par.
Our room had a refrigerator that kept drinks lukewarm at best. And the ice machine could not keep up with demand.
Overall , we loved the place, but the food kept it from being a repeat destination."
