"I didn’t like the fact that the whole reason I booked this place is for the bar /restaurant in the same building ( old Chicago) and we wouldn’t have to drive anywhere else for dinner. And they always had a good breakfast buffet not make your own waffle!No mention of it being closed no refund or anything when I called Best western customer service in fact they hung up on me after they saw that I booked through Expedia ( third party) booking so they feel it was not their fault. when I could have booked elsewhere for half that so no I am not happy! The breakfast was moved to a crowded area by the pool and just typical motel make your own waffle which had a line of people waiting to cook their meals 😡"

"I booked this hotel after looking at the pictures and saw that it looked like a decent place to stay for the price. After checking into the room. The room was completely ran down. There was water damage all over, a smell coming from the bathroom, and other issues with the room"

"clean room staff was friendly and it was a great stay breakfast was fresh and the bar had a great selection overall it was a 10 out of 10. i would recommend this place to everyone that goes to galena. also it had a shuttle bus from the hotel to main street we had a wonderful time on our 35th anniversary "
