The Harris Beach House is at the top of the list for both. The home easily accommodated two families with 3 adult children. Clean, well-appointed and convenient beach access. Great views. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. And great weather enhanced the visit. We highly recommend this VRBO. »

« Steven and Beth were amazing hosts and very helpful with local information! Their cottage was exactly as listed. Beautifully decorated, serenely quiet, and very comfortable. It was stormy during our stay, so the view wasn't perfect. But sitting on the porch, deeply inhaling the forest scent while having coffee, was the most relaxing experience one could ask for! We wished we could have stayed longer! If you're looking to relax and let the stress go, this is the perfect place to stay! A big thank...

« Beautiful home in an amazing location! The house itself is so cute and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen and other thoughtful amenities like games, puzzles, a cd player and cute back porch with a fire pit and hot tub. The location can not be beat, just a stones throw from Jedidiah Smith State Park and some of the best redwood hikes available anywhere. We would definitely stay here again and wish we stayed longer this visit! »

« Best rental house on the Smith River! This was our 3rd or 4th time here and it's still our favorite rental house ever. Fully stocked with every possible thing you might need. The hosts are great and very helpful and the location is unique in that is has the best access of any rental house on the Smith River. Even my barely mobile 84 year-old mother-in-law could get down to the beach to watch us kayak and swim. My only tiny complaint is that the knives in the kitchen were almost too dull to use,...

« Everything was just as the pictures. A regular chair would have made watching football on tv a lil better, the bed to sit on was ok. Very clean! Had shampoo/cond/body wash in the shower already. & even had qtips & round puffs to wash your face. I didnt use the laundry room but it was nice & clean. »
