"The staff was so nice and the area is so great that I desperately want to rate this property higher. But the bed is uncomfortable as the mattress springs can be readily felt, and the place, though uber charming, is in disrepair and needs a complete overhaul. It can be GLORIOUS, because it is such a wonderful place. You can see shades of its former glory. I hope they will invest in refurbishing the property."

"We really enjoyed our stay here......Amalia Hotel was wonderful for us. They are in a residential area, and they warn about the dogs in the area. There are many and they are noisy... that would be my only complaint, and he puts it right up front, so really can't complain. Our apartment unit was a nice size, immaculate and well equipped. Only the basics, buts that's all you need. The bed was comfy, nice little couch in the living area and we had a little table to eat on inside (that became John's...
